The fall of the Two towers

I think that 9/11 was the most important event that happened in the last 50 years.  It has caused global awareness of terrorists al over the world.  It has helped for airport security to be tightened.  Hopefully something like this will never happen again.
My blessings to everyone who lost someone in this tragic event.

Family Story

Mt favorite family story is the one my grandpa told my mom and then my mom told me.  My grandpa used to be in World War two.   He was once captured and tortured by the enemy.  They would beat him to a pulp for information.  My grandpa was strong and never gave them a single thing.   He was there for about 3 months before he escaped and found his way back to his camp.  After that he stayed on the battlefield  until the war was over.  After the war, according to my grandma, he was never the same.  He became very depressed and he started losing sleep.  The war and the torture had a great affect on my grandpa.

Learning Experience

Last year was the first year i ever learned Chinese. It was a very great experience to have. It is one of the hardest languages and it was very hard to learn it. We have four differnt tones of speech. That means one word could mean four things, depending on how you say it. This year I am able to grasp it more than last year. I have improved in my reading of symbols and remembering how to write them. Hopefully i approve on how to say the words correctly. Overall Chinese is one of my favorite subjects and i can't wait to see how much more of it I learn this year!

I read this article about how unsafe water in school can be.  They have found lots of amounts lead, pesticides, and dozen of other toxins.  I can't believe that those things have gone unnoticed.  School officials really need to step up their game and start watching what kind of stuff is in there water.
Blogging is beneficial to education. It benefits education by giving teachers a way of giving questions to students. It is helpful to schools because it can be a new topic to teach and their could also be a class for learning all this about technology.  Using Blogging in schools can help teachers and students as well. Blogging in schools helps them by letting students find a voice, allows time for reflection, and builds online collaboration and enhances learning opportunities.
Blogging gives teachers a way of giving questions to students. It takes away some of the stress that a teacher has from making a lesson plan.  They could give a student a research paper knowing that they could find all the answers to the report at Google or Wikipedia.  Teachers could also print out worksheets to give to their students for homework or classwork.  teachers could even get their lesson plan off the Internet at a teachers help site.
Schools can also benefit from blogging. They could go online for help with their homework because there are a lot of homework outlines online now a days.  It could be another whole class in which the school can have.  It could bring their school into the 21st century because now it is important for the ways of teaching to keep up with today's constantly changing technology.  It could help school by making the school more top rated by being an advanced school.  Also it is good for a school to teach kids how to use the computer because it open up a whole new field of work for the student. It is proven that 75% of kids who use the computer at home with their homework better understand the assignment and have a better chance of completing or passing it.
Blogging in schools gives students a chance to find out how to properly research a topic.  That could help them in all subjects in the way that students will be more aware of researching and will be able to find the right information for reports.  It also gives students a chance to realize they can have a "voice" online and participate in the world via Internet. It gives students time to think about their thoughts of a topic and then they could reflect on what they learned.  45% of kids who use computers in school pay attention more and actually did their work.  This is due to the fact that they are typing and looking on the web and not just coping notes.
As you can see blogs are very helpful for education.  It helps students, parents, teachers and schools.  It mostly helps students which will need to know how to do everything online by the time they are looking for a job.  In a few years everything will be on the computer.  Your interview for a job might be via webcam in  few years!
